Sorry this is comeing so late, but Dad is just resting up for the surgery tomorrow at 9:30 am. He hasn't got up that early for a few weeks, he may be quite grumpy when that time rolls around. Some things just don't change. Thanks again for your support and prayers.

Hello Southwick Family. Just want to let you know you're all in our hearts & prayers. So sorry to hear about Steve's accident. I'm so grateful for all the help & support he gave my mom when she was sick. You hang in there Steve. We expect to see you up, around and strong soon. You'll have a lot of oneryness to catch up on!

Dear Dad,
I want you to know how thankful I am to you and mom for how you raised me. I might not have turned out great but you sure tried to help get me there. Michael just came up to me and said he wanted to give you another car and to go turn the tape on cause he still seems to think that we can get to you by going through the tape.
You are probably going to have a hard day full of tension and antisapation, oh wait, that is probably what is going on with everyone else. I just want you to come to and look around and have no idea where you are. Then they can tell you all about your little escapade.
I am just so very glad that you weren't in your accident on my birthday, though it happened in my birthday month. mom said that if it had happened then that it would have been a big payback.
I love you so much and you are so strong and encouraging all the time, even when it wasn't in my favor at the time. You are going to make it through surgery just great and you are going to tell us all afterward how you felt absolutley nothing.
Now mom,you, and I can be made fun of and be joked about with the beging phrase- "since the accident." But you know you didn't have to do this to let us all know that you love me most of all, just kidding everyone. Please wake up very soon so that we can talk on the phone, or let me rephrase that, I will talk and you can listen cause your voice won't want to work write away after the traik tube. Sorry I still can't spell all the great but at least I am trying, right.
Know that our prayers and thoughts are will you and the rest of the family all the time. Please stop being such a big dork, quite giving mom such a hard time, and wake up. We love you all and miss you more then you will ever know and probably more then we will ever know also, pretty crazy huh. Well got to go. Take care.

Well I know that you should be in Surgery right now Steve. They have some great meds for surgery. :-)
Of course I'm sure your grumpy with the early morning wake up call and being clean shaven, but this is your party so go in there kick some butt and come out with a smile and plans on growing your beard back!!
We all love you very much and your famliy, how can we not with everything you have all done to help the people around you out when we needed it. You never once asked for anything in return.
Gabby passed on a giant hug, she is up to her ears in getting ready for her graduation...where the heck does the time go?
